Anti CountryCountry Club

A Manifesto

The Club

a private establishment

The Anti Country Country Club is a saloon, a barber shop, a card room, and a haberdashery. It is not a club you join. It is a club you find — usually after you've lost something else.

We sell goods from the wrong side of the saloon. Hand-cut apparel, brass-and-glass home goods, accessories built for the long ride. Every item is a small rebellion against the polite, the laminated, and the mass-produced.

We don't pledge allegiance to country. We don't pledge it to city, either. We pledge it to the velvet curtain, the dripping chandelier, and the slow inevitable creak of the swinging door behind you.

Welcome to the wrong side. Stay a while.
